It’s time for the Totally Green Contest again! Want to win some fabulous prizes? The Totally Green Contest is a competition between our readers with the intent of creating awesomeness from recycled items. Johnnie and I are challenging you to submit your best projects based on our recycled theme.
Our theme for this season is “Sweaters and T-Shirts“. What great things can you make from a recycled sweater or T-shirt?
Rules are as follows:
1.- Submit your project to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include at least one clear photo of your finished project along with your name, email address and link to your website post (if applicable). You do not need to have a website in order to participate!
2. Your project must be your own creation, but it doesn’t have to be original. (Even though original is a good thing!) It must incorporate the theme of the contest.
3. Your project can be a current project, or one that you created previously- as long as it is your own. Please only one project submission per person.
4. You have until 8:00 PM EST, Friday, February 15, 2013 to submit your project.
6. International contestants are welcome! Heck, we have international sponsors!
If you would like some ideas, be sure to click on the two links below. Johnnie has already compiled some great sweater and t-shirt ideas for you convenience. Get inspired and create something amazing!
We will be posting the entries as we receive them so that you can keep an eye on the competition!
On February 18, Johnnie and I will narrow it down to the top twelve and then put it out to you, the readers, for a vote to narrow it to the top six. The top six will have a chance for a final vote, where the final three winners will be decided.
And what will they win? Well, sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and check out this amazing list of sponsors!
